About Bread.
Niels Strybos started writing music from age 16, simple and light acoustic tunes flew around the room whenever he touched a guitar. A few years went by...bands and music (of all genres) became a frequent hobby and after fiddling around with instruments for a few years there were a lot of loose ends that were too good to stay in the lost corners of different computer hard drives, recording devices..., etc...
About Bread is the reincarnation of all these lost tunes and lyrics mixed into an indie project that sounds rather dark and slow. It translates years of playing in different bands and styles and puts it in an acoustic setting. The result of those compositions then got mixed up with some digital sounds & drumrobots. The sound of About Bread was born for the world to enjoy...To this day it's a solo-project in the true sense of the word. Everything you hear is either recorded, produced or programmed by one person in a small room in the heart of a beautiful country called Belgium.​
